WeDecide receiving KOSGEB support

WeDecide recently received state subsidy support KOSGEB, which is set up by Turkish Ministry of Industry to support start-ups with promising R&D projects.

WeDecide’s application process started in December and received the support as of April, 2011. As a part of this support, WeDecide recently moved to its new offices in TekMer (Technology Center) at Bogazici University, one of Turkey’s oldest and brightest institutions. In addition to the office space, WeDecide is qualified for subsidies on staff and selected services for a term of 12 months on a budget of up to 200k TL upon approval of expenditures by KOSGEB.

This support greatly increases WeDecide’s capabilities to reach its vision of becoming a smart and efficient platform for group decisions. We are thus thankful to the jury and administrators of the fund. At the same time, we believe KOSGEB would also perform better if it did involve the private sector more, as mentioned in this blog post.
